JVC takes the plunge with new 3D projector range

JVC looks to be amongst the first to launch a range of 3D compatible projectors.

Using their own patented
DiLa technology, they all boast full 1920 x 1080p resolutions at 50, 60 and 24 Hz. Just to be sure, JVC has included Sequential 3D, side-by-side 3D and top and bottom 3D methods of display. So you shouldn’t get caught out by one manufacturer supply a format you won’t have.

3D is fast becoming accepted as a new format for TV and Projection, and whilst the interaction between some electronics are at their basic stage, the overall package looks very promising. With projectors giving the kind of image that the new
JVC range offers from standard 2D, then quite frankly, we don’t really care.

Installing this unit is as simple as you could possible hope for. Super lens shift and zoom options make it a cinch to get the image where you want it, and the size you want it. After that, prepare yourself for a good hour of calibration and the resulting picture is very sweet indeed.

The unit is also extremely quite in operation, so over your head installation is no problems.

Starting at £3600.00, the range extends up two further models. But even the baby we’ve installed, gives great results.
